This is a photo of my Dad, Merrill B. Scott.  Actually, it is ANY photo of my Dad, if he saw that you were about to take a picture of him.  The smile and wave were both reactions to him seeing that he was about to be ‘caught’ by a photographer that was not sneaky enough to get a candid shot.
